On The Road to Birmingham

We love running Little Notes in places around the UK and Netherlands. Little Notes turns nineteen soon and we’ve decided it’s time to hit the road. Our first road trip is to Birmingham to the wonderful Spring Recorder Festival. We’re long-term fans of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire: Francesca (our Amsterdam leader) is a RBC recorder graduate and Lou (Little Notes founder) was on the staff as a recorder teacher for a while. Lou and Francesca are hitting the road together to run some sessions on April 14th, 2024.

“We’re delighted that Little Notes is coming to Birmingham”, explains Lou. “The festival is celebrating top-quality music-making and creative, excellent education. These values are core to us, as we aim to bring excellent live music experiences to the very young. We’ll have all the usual Little Notes fun with puppets, streamers and the parachute but also a wide array of recorders too.”

There’s a session for children aged 2-4, or slightly older, and their grown-ups at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on Sunday April 14th at 11:15. Then we’ll have a session for babies and toddlers aged 0-2 at 12:20. Little Notes is great fun for adults too and bursting with live music. Spaces are limited and tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/little-notes-on-the-road-birmingham-tickets-860952501107
