Sarah Langdon
BMus(Hons) ATCL

Sarah studied recorder at Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating in 2013. Whilst in her final year, she began teaching in the North West and teaches all ages and abilities, both in schools and privately. Sarah has also taught at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and Macclesfield Music Centre.
She regularly performs with K’antu Ensemble, an eclectic mix of musicians performing Renaissance pop music, and has performed throughout the UK and Europe with them. K’antu are Live Music Now! artists, bringing music to audiences who otherwise would not be able to enjoy it.
Alongside this work, Sarah organises the Moeck/Society of Recorder Players International Solo Recorder Competition. Sarah loves the challenge of learning new things, especially new instruments, but has most recently taken up knitting. Sarah lives in Macclesfield with her husband, Josh, their two cats (who make knitting very difficult!) and their brand new baby who is very much looking forward to seeing you all at class soon.
