LIVE classes start back

Covid-19 update (16 September)
LIVE classes return to the Chichester Festival Theatre

We are excited to announce that classes kick off at the Chichester Festival Theatre on Thursday 24th September. We are so excited to see you all, but things will be a little different for a season. For the time being, numbers of places have been reduced and we have introduced some new ways of working including having longer between classes. Family pods are available to BOOK NOW through the CFT website and we ask that you bring your own picnic rug to mark the space in which your family will stay throughout the session.
We are asking all participants to bring along a bag of instruments during this season. The best way to always have the right kit on hand is to purchase one of our Take Home Music Bags **RECOMMENDED*, which can be purchased from the booking area of our Horsham page.
There will be a one way system through our venue, with hand sanitising stations available. All participants temperatures will be taken on arrival and we ask that you wear masks when transiting through the building to your pod and ideally in the class itself. It is important that we avoid mingling before and after our classes, so we ask for you to move away from the building swiftly as soon as the class is finished. Should further restrictions be put in place, we will move to an online offering each week.

Designed and delivered by musicians wanting to bring the very best to the very young. Our fun classes are bursting with live music.

The Team

When Little Notes first started, I was busy working for Glyndebourne Opera and freelancing as a professional Tenor, with some of the world’s finest conductors, theatre directors and choreographers. I began with a practical performer’s training at the Royal Academy of Music which ranged from ballet classes to Italian song. All of this experience has helped us to mould the Little Notes curriculum into something that has real artistic credibility.

Parenting my three wonderful girls is perhaps the last notable ingredient that has inspired us to build Little Notes into an inclusive and welcoming artistic experience for all family members.

"I love coming to Little Notes with my daughter each week and look forward to each session. My daughter gets so excited when she realises where we are and it is a pleasure to see her get such enjoyment out of a class. It is run by talented people who pitch the classes perfectly for the children (the adults have fun too)."

"Your love and passion for sharing music shines in every session. It is in some ways hard to put into words what we love so much about Little Notes classes, but I think it is probably all summed up as “a bubble of musical love."
